“In the moment of touch”
I drew inspiration from the large number of toxic jellyfish that washed ashore at Tokuhama on Kakeroma Island.
Why is it that, even knowing something is poisonous, we still feel irresistibly drawn to its beauty and want to touch it?
The framed piece made from crushed shells will prick your fingers if you don’t handle it gently.

“触れるときには”
加計呂麻島の徳浜に打ち上げられたカツオノカンムリ(毒クラゲ) からインスピレーションを得ました。
毒があるとわかっていても美しいものに吸い込まれるように触れてみたいと思ってしまうのはなぜなんでしょう？
貝を砕いた額装はそっと触れないと指に刺さってしまう。
